Our brief for the Devonshire Beeley was initially a small but important project to incorporate a mini-bar offering and telephones into the bedrooms.
However, because of the existing quirky room design and free-standing furniture, the layout of the rooms had to be looked at to fit in the new mini bar units. This became an ideal opportunity to give the rooms a face-lift at the same time.
This was a relatively low spend but strategically important project, but it has made a huge difference to the look and feel of the rooms as well as offering guests added value.
Various items of furniture were re-upholstered to give them a new lease of life and fit in with the freshly painted surroundings.
Overall changes to the paint colours were very subtle. We chose modern colours to update the feel of the rooms and added lighting to give each room more personality. Headboards were also re-upholstered to tie in with the new schemes and to make a bold statement.
